Heliostoik is pleased to announce the signing of a long-term Balance of Plant (BoP) Maintenance Contract for a 45 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in the Netherlands with Ampyr Solar Europe.
The contract has been awarded to Heliostoik High Voltage Services, our division dedicated to high-voltage infrastructure, substations and utility-scale energy assets.
Supporting Critical Grid Infrastructure
Battery Energy Storage Systems are becoming an essential component of the Dutch electricity grid. They provide flexibility, support renewable energy integration, contribute to grid stability and help maximize the value of renewable generation.
Under this contract, Heliostoik will be responsible for the maintenance of the Balance of Plant infrastructure associated with the energy storage facility. This includes the electrical systems and supporting infrastructure necessary for the safe and reliable operation of the asset.

The BESS is based on Sungrow technology, creating a strong operational advantage for the asset owner.
